Colonial Christian School is a disciple-making academy of Colonial Hills Baptist Church. While the school is college preparatory and more than ninety percent of our seniors are college-bound, our greatest desire is that the graduates will demonstrate a love for Jesus Christ and a life-long desire to serve as a faithful member of the local church. We have graduates in all walks of life–pastors, missionaries, teachers, doctors, nurses, lawyers, businessmen, homemakers, etc.
CCS provides a balance of academic, fine art, and athletic opportunities as part of a well-rounded education. We offer honors and dual credit classes, including Dual Credit Spanish, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, and English. These offerings allow CCS graduates to enter college with up to 27 credit hours. In fine arts, students participate in choir with options to also participate in audition ensembles, band, handbell choir, private music lessons, and art classes. Students also participate in FABA (Fine Arts, Bible, and Academics) state and national competition. Athletic opportunities include men’s soccer and basketball, and women’s volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading. CCS also offers intramural sports and extracurriculars such as shop class and graphic design. Whether in academics, fine arts, or athletics, we strive to train our students to develop their God-given abilities so that they serve the Lord effectively, both now and in the future.
