Step 1: School Acceptance – Verify that you have completed your student’s enrollment application and that they are fully accepted for the coming school year. New students will receive an acceptance letter when this step is completed. Feel free to call the school office at 317-253-0649 if you have not yet received your acceptance letter.
Step 2: Income Verification – Verify that your family meets the IDOE Income Guidelines.
Step 3: Student Eligibility – Verify that your student meets the IDOE Voucher Eligibility Requirements through one of the seven pathways as authorized by the state of Indiana. This document does not apply to SGO scholarship applicants.
Step 4: Income Documentation – Make a copy of the first page of last year’s IRS Form 1040 tax return to document your annual income (AGI) and household size. Read the IDOE Income Verification Rules, fill out the Scholarship Intent Form (SIF), and submit this completed form to the school office.
Step 5: Final Steps – Once our office has completed your online IDOE voucher application using the information you have provided, we will call you for a final appointment at which you will sign all the official documents to complete the application. At that final meeting, you will receive a letter from the state which indicates the estimated amount of your Choice Scholarship for the upcoming school year.
