Colonial Christian School is a disciple-making academy of Colonial Hills Baptist Church. While the school is college preparatory and more than ninety percent of our seniors are college-bound, our greatest desire is that the graduates will demonstrate a love for Jesus Christ and a life-long desire to serve as a faithful member of the local church. We have graduates in all walks of life--pastors, missionaries, teachers, doctors, nurses, lawyers, businessmen, homemakers, etc.
Like a three-legged stool, there are three factors which support the effectiveness of Christian education—the church, the Christian home, and the Christian school. When one of these is deficient, Christian education may be affected. Religious education begins at home and is founded upon the local church. Therefore, local church attendance is essential in order for the ministry of the Christian school to be successful. The Admissions Committee carefully evaluates these three factors when considering the enrollment of a student.
The Bible is the ultimate textbook from which students are taught principles and promises that will draw them closer to the Lord Jesus Christ and equip them for the opportunities and difficulties of life.
We desire to challenge our students to strive for excellence in all things in order that they will exalt the King and effectively minister to others.
