Welcome to my class page! I am thrilled with the opportunity God has given me to teach your child this year. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your child as we strive to make the 2014-2015 school year your child's best yet.

Testimony

I was born into a Christian educator family. My dad was a Christian school administrator, my mom was a Christian school teacher, my sister became a Christian school teacher, my grandpa was a pastor and a Christian school administrator, my grandma was a professor at a Christian university...I think by now you get the point. I was around Christian education and the church ALL THE TIME. From an early age I had a good grasp of all the Christian concepts and could answer all of the Sunday school questions with ease. It was not until one evening, when I was 5, after family devotions that all my head knowledge became heart knowledge. I finally realized that "all have sinned" (Rom. 3:23) meant me, and that the payment for my sin ("wages") was death (Rom. 6:23). So, after family devotions I knelt by our couch with my mom and dad and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I told Him I knew I was a sinner. I confessed that I couldn't save myself. I affirmed "that Christ died for our [my] sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (1 Cor. 15:3-4). Between the night I accepted Jesus into my heart and today I have had my share of doubts. But I hold on to the promises of Scripture for my assurance (John. 10:28, 1 John. 5:13, Rom. 10:13, John. 3:16).

Goals for My Students
  • That each student would "give diligence to make [their] calling and election sure" (2 Peter 1:10).
  • That each student would "desire the sincere milk of the word" and "grow thereby" (1 Peter 2:2).
  • That each student would learn to love learning.
  • That each student would take the next step academically and push themselves to be their very best.
