History
Colonial Christian School began in the fall of 1976 as a ministry of then Northeast Baptist Church pastored by Pastor Wendell Heller. The school started in the present-day Annex with preschool and kindergarten classes. In the fall of 1977, the school moved into the A-wing rooms of a new building and began adding grade levels each year. In 1982, the school moved into the B-wing classrooms and added grades 9-12. In 1998 the new two-story Heller Building was completed to help meet the growing academic needs and programs of the school.
Statement of Faith
Colonial Hills Baptist Church and Colonial Christian School believe and teach the inerrant and infallible inspiration of the Bible, both the Old and the New Testaments, in their original languages; the creation of man by the direct act of God; Jesus Christ was God incarnate and was born into this world of a virgin; the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ were necessary as a vicarious atonement for the sins of mankind and is the only means whereby man can escape an eternity in hell; and that salvation is a gift of God involving man's acceptance by faith in the completed work of Christ.
